What are the normal inspection items for operating machine pumps? Answer: (1) Outlet pressure. (2) Bearing temperature, motor temperature, pump casing temperature. (3) Leakage: Mechanical seal leakage and oil seal leakage. (4) Is the sound normal? (5) Mechanical vibration. (6) Whether the lubrication performance is good. (7) Are the jacket cooling water and seal flushing fluid unobstructed? (8) If there is an ammeter, the current reading should also be checked. http://down.hcbbs.cc/attachment/forum/201706/10/203353z7y06fdo70r6eod0.jpg Petrochemical zone – New ideas for energy savings: the “Creative Thinking” campaign (the second phase is currently in progress). http://bbs.hcbbs.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1666758 (Source: Haichuan Chemical Industry Forum) 2017: “My Technical Upgrades” in the coal chemical industry. http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-1786290-1-1.html (Source: Haichuan Chemical Industry Forum Website) Registration for chemical engineers – Experience-sharing campaign titled “Learning from Others’. http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-1808158-1-1.html (Source: Haichuan Chemical Industry Forum Website)

⒈Is the operating sound of the pump abnormal?; ⒉Are the vibrations and temperatures of the bearings (motor bearings and pump bearings) normal? ; ⒊Is the motor current within the normal range? ; ⒋Is the pump outlet pressure within the normal range?
(1) Regularly observe and record changes in values such as the inlet and outlet pressure gauges, ammeters, and bearing temperatures. If any abnormalities are detected, the causes should be analyzed and addressed promptly. (2) Regularly use a stethoscope to listen to the internal noises (the main areas to be checked are bearings, stuffing boxes, gland boxes, various pump chambers of the water pump, and sealing points), paying attention to any signs of friction or impact sounds. If any significant changes in sound or unusual noises are detected, the pump should be stopped immediately for inspection.

1. Check whether parameters such as the voltage and current of the drive motor, as well as the water output pressure of the pump, are within normal ranges. If any abnormalities are detected, the cause must be investigated; if necessary, stop the pump for inspection. 2. Check the operating noise and vibration of the unit. 3. Check whether the packing gland is properly tightened, whether there is normal dripping, and whether the packing box is overheating. 4. Check whether the bearing is operating properly (oil temperature, oil level, oil quality), and look for any abnormal noises. 5. Check whether the temperature of the motor windings is normal and whether the temperature rise exceeds the allowable value. 6. Check whether there are any unusual odors in the pump room; if a burnt smell is detected, it is necessary to verify whether electrical equipment such as the motor is functioning properly, and the machine should be stopped for a thorough inspection if needed. 7. Pay attention to checking the water level in the tank to prevent the pump from running dry.
