Are specific volume and specific heat the same? I personally think it’s different.
Specific volume is the volume per unit mass of a substance; specific heat capacity refers to the amount of heat exchanged between a substance and its surroundings when its temperature changes by 1℃ (1K) per unit amount of the substance.
Specific Heat Capacity, denoted by the symbol c, is also known as specific heat. It represents the heat capacity per unit mass of a substance, that is, the amount of heat absorbed or released by a unit mass of material when its temperature changes by one unit.
