We have developed a new type of solid sedimentation agent for oil slurry that is at the international leading level. Tests conducted in a domestic refinery with a processing capacity of tens of millions of tons have shown that this agent can achieve a removal efficiency of over 90%; the ash content after treatment is as low as 0.02%. It can be used alone or in combination with chemical sedimentation and physical filtration methods to ensure an appropriate operational cycle and minimum processing costs. The purity level achievable is even lower than that required for carbon fiber production (less than 10 ppm).
