What process and catalysts are used in the methanol-to-gasoline plant of Inner Mongolia Qinghua? Is it driving well?
At the moment, this is a rather poor quality manufacturing process! With methanol prices currently so high and oil prices at a low level, such plants are all shut down – Qinghua in Inner Mongolia, Xinye in Xinjiang, Zhejiang Energy in Jiaxing, and Fenghui in Inner Mongolia have all ceased operations! The device is too small, and its ability to withstand risks is too low! Furthermore, the quality of Saiding Design Institute is really not impressive; there is still a lot room for improvement!
Methanol costs around 2,800 per ton, and three tons of methanol are needed to produce one ton of gasoline. How much is gasoline per ton? Will those devices even work? Not to mention the huge amount of money involved.
It seems there’s no hope left. :)
