By 2026, the goal of Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical is to produce 1.9 million tons of polyolefins, with an aim of reaching 1.95 million tons and a target of 2 million tons ; Produce 3.78 million tons of methanol, aiming for 3.88 million tons, with the goal of reaching 4 million tons ; 1.825 million tons of olefins were produced; the target is 1.872 million tons, with an ambition to reach 1.92 million tons ; The diene yield of the DMTO unit is not less than 34.6%, and the diene yield of the DCC unit is not less than 37.7% ; 550 million kWh of electricity was generated. In 2024, Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical produced a total of 2.042 million tons of polyolefin products throughout the year. Yulin Energy Chemical has 2 units, with the following details. The first-phase project mainly includes facilities for 1.8 million tons per year of methanol production, 1.5 million tons per year of catalytic thermal cracking of residue oil, and 600,000 tons per year of methanol-to-olefins (DMTO) production; it also has the capacity to produce 600,000 tons per year of polyethylene and 600,000 tons per year of polypropylene. The project was put into operation in July 2014. In the first phase of this project, facilities were built to meet the required capacity, including a 1.8 million tons per year methanol production plant, a 600,000 tons per year DMTO plant, a 300,000 tons per year integrated LDPE/EVA production plant, and a 400,000 tons per year polypropylene plant; these facilities were completed and put into operation in December 2020.
