Dear experts in the HaiChuan community, does anyone have the technical specifications for styrene extraction? I’d like to share and learn from them. I would like to know the scale of styrene extraction and its energy consumption.

Negative pressure extraction is related to vacuum level and temperature control. It depends on the industry; for example, in the extraction of residual benzene from papermaking latex, steam is used directly, with a vacuum level of -80 kPa and a temperature of around 68 degrees, and the process is carried out intermittently； In the production of styrene-butadiene rubber, the conversion rate is low; extraction is usually carried out using a stripping tower, with similar control over temperature and vacuum, and it is a continuous process. The scale is generally around 30,000 tons per year, with 1 million tons of ethylene produced, and the energy consumption is around 50-70 units
