On July 18, Qianjiang City held a ceremony to launch a batch of projects in July 2021; 13 projects were started, with a total investment of 4.143 billion yuan! It is reported that this centralized project kickoff event features 1 main venue (the petrochemical refining cluster in the northern area) and 6 sub-venues (Yuanlin Sub-district, Yangshi Sub-district, Zhugenban Town, Yuyang Town, Zhouji Management Area, and Wangchang Town). The projects to be launched cover various fields such as new materials, new chemicals, infrastructure, social services, and ecological civilization; they represent new drivers and supports for our city to accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading, improve the functionality and quality of the city, and better ensure and enhance people’s livelihoods. There are 2 projects that are starting construction at the main site: the Funolin annual production line for 25,000 tons of perfluoroethylene polymers and related facilities (with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan), and the Danor ultra-pure electronic chemicals project (with a total investment of 200 million yuan). Zhejiang Funuolin Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. is a newly emerging high-tech enterprise in China that integrates research and development, production, and sales of fluorine-containing new materials. It boasts a research team headed by experts under the National Ten Thousand Talents Program as well as provincial and municipal-level leading experts, all of whom hold doctoral degrees. Relying on its proprietary production technology for vinylidene fluoride polymers, the company has filled a gap in China’s industry and achieved international first-class standards. An investment of 1.2 billion yuan has been made in Qianjiang to build a production line for 25,000 tons of perfluoroethylene polymers along with related facilities; the construction will take place in two phases, covering a total area of 250 mu. Once completed, the project will become the world’s largest production base for perfluoroethylene polymers. Danuoer (Hubei) Microelectronics Materials Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Danuoer Technology Co., Ltd. It was established on July 7, 2020, in the Qianjiang Economic Development Zone. The ultra-high-purity electronic chemicals project currently under construction by the company falls within the category of fine chemical industries that Hubei Province prioritizes attracting. The company will focus on producing semiconductor-grade ammonia water, semiconductor-grade hydrogen peroxide, semiconductor-grade isopropyl alcohol, and other specialty chemicals used in semiconductor chip manufacturing. Construction is currently underway, with operations expected to commence at the beginning of 2022. The project covers an area of 100 mu, with a total investment of 160 million yuan. It has an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of ultra-pure electronic chemicals, and is being built in three phases: Phase 1 has a total production capacity of 80,000 tons, covering ammonia water, hydrogen peroxide, isopropanol, etching solutions, and stripping solutions. On the morning of July 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for Hubei Jianeng Steel Structure Co., Ltd.’s annual production project of 10,000 tons of steel structures was held in the Qianjin Industrial Park of Zhouji Management Area. It is reported that the project plans to use 22 mu of land, with a total investment of 80 million yuan, and will mainly produce steel structure factories and related mechanical equipment. Once the project is put into operation, it will have the capacity to produce 10,000 tons of steel structures per year, with an annual output value of 70 million yuan and tax revenues of 3 million yuan, resulting in good economic and social benefits. On the morning of July 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for Hubei Xinxuanhong’s annual 250,000-ton aromatic chloride production project was held in Wangchang Town. It is reported that Hubei Xinxuanhong New Materials Co., Ltd. maintains long-term strategic partnership relationships with well-known companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Clorox, and Haihong Lao Ren, and its products are widely used in the food additives, coatings, and pharmaceutical industries. The project that is set to begin construction now covers an area of 200 mu, with an investment of 550 million yuan planned. It will be developed in two phases; in the first phase, it will be possible to produce 50,000 tons of benzyl chloride, 10,000 tons of benzyl acetate, and 15,000 tons of benzoyl chloride per year ； In the second phase, the annual production capacity will be 50,000 tons of benzyl chloride, 50,000 tons of benzyl alcohol, 15,000 tons of benzoyl chloride, and 30,000 tons each of o-chlorotoluene and p-chlorotoluene. The project construction period is 48 months; upon completion, it will generate an output value of 800 million yuan, pay 100 million yuan in taxes, and create 120 job opportunities. This project is also an important achievement of the Wangchang Town Industrial Park in proactively taking on the upgrading of upstream and downstream industries, moving forward toward the higher end of the value chain, and thus creating a new engine for regional development. As the project comes online and starts operating, the circular effect of consuming chlorine and hydrogen in the park will be further strengthened, and the circular industrial system will become more solidified, thereby providing new impetus for the development and growth of the Qianjiang chemical industry cluster. To accelerate the implementation of the \"Gasification of Towns and Villages\" project, improve the structure of gas consumption in these areas, raise the living standards of local residents, and achieve energy conservation and emission reduction. On the morning of July 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for the natural gas utilization project in Yuyang Town was held. The total investment for the natural gas utilization project in Yuyang Town is 15 million yuan. In 2021, it is planned to construct 10.2 kilometers of municipal pipelines, with an investment of around 5.578 million yuan. The pipeline runs from the Old and New Water Treatment Plants across the Dongjing River into Yuyang, then extends to Huiseng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. along National Highway G240. Finally, it follows National Highway G240 to the town area of Yuyang, covering the main roads in the town such as Jianxin Road, Central Street, Wenwei Road, Nongmao Road, Guangchang Road, and Yuyang Avenue. Once completed, it will supply gas to over 1,500 residents and 20 business owners in the town area, and will be able to meet the development needs of Yuyang Town for the next 20 years. On July 18, the 2021 transportation and livelihood project in Qianjiang City officially commenced construction in Zuoqiao Village, Zhugen Tan Town. The transportation and livelihood projects being launched this time include the Upgrade and Reconstruction Project of County and Township Roads (Phase I) as well as the Road Connectivity Project for Villages and Groups (Phase I). Among them, the county and township road upgrading project (first batch) includes 3 routes: the section from Heiliudu Village to Zuoqiao Village, the section from Zuochang Village to Litan Village, and the section from Daijiatan Village to Huangjiagang Village. The total length of these routes is 21 km, with a total project cost of 47 million yuan. The project aims to upgrade certain roads in Zhugen Tan and Yangshi areas. The Village and Group Road Connectivity Project (Phase 1) covers 8 areas including Jiyukou Town, Yangshi Sub-district, Zhugen Tan Town, Haokou Town, Laoxin Town, Longwan Town, Xiongkou Management Area, and Zhangjin Town, spanning a total length of 80 km. The total cost of the project is 42 million yuan, and its purpose is to meet the need for paved roads in natural villages with 5 or more households across the city. The head of the Municipal Transportation Bureau stated that the commencement of construction on transportation-related projects aimed at improving people’s livelihoods in 2021 is of great significance for enhancing the capacity of rural roads in our city, optimizing the structure of the rural road network, and contributing to the development of rural areas. On July 18, the expansion of the 4S store of Qianjiang Litong Automobile Service Co., Ltd. as well as the construction and renovation of the sewage collection network in the urban area of Qianjiang City officially commenced at the Yuanlin Sub-district Office. It is understood that the expansion project for Lituong Auto 4S Store is expected to require a total investment of 105 million yuan, covering an area of 37.9 mu. The project aims to create an automotive consumer service center that integrates the sales of high-quality vehicles, vehicle maintenance, and vehicle inspection services. The construction will include 5,600 square meters of exhibition space, 16,000 square meters of factory space, 1,000 square meters for canteens and dormitories, and 4,000 square meters for office spaces. The total investment in the construction and renovation of the sewage collection network in the urban area of Qianjiang City is approximately 400 million yuan. It aims to improve the sewage network infrastructure in areas where such facilities are lacking, as well as to carry out renovations to separate sewage flows in rural areas within the city. The project covers three districts: Yuanlin, Taifeng, and Yangshi, with plans to build 293 kilometers of new sewage pipelines. Among them, the domestic sewage collection network in Yuanlin Sub-district is approximately 148 km long, that in Taifeng Sub-district is about 109 km long, and that in Yangshi Sub-district is roughly 36 km long. Once completed, this project will not only fundamentally solve the problem of direct discharge of sewage into the main urban area, but it will also hold milestone significance for promoting sustainable urban development, improving the living environment, and creating a civilized city. On the morning of July 18, at the Yangshi Sub-district Office, the construction of Hubei Yongdian Electrical Co., Ltd.’s production line capable of manufacturing 300,000 meters of bus ducts per year began in full swing. It is reported that the production line project for manufacturing 300,000 meters of bus ducts per year requires a total investment of 55 million yuan and covers an area of 30 mu. The project goals are promising and encouraging; the busbar product series falls under the category of energy-saving and environmentally friendly products that should be widely promoted, and there is still significant room for growth in this market. It is estimated that once the project is completed and put into operation, it will generate annual sales revenue of 300 million yuan.
