Jinneng Technology is a comprehensive chemical enterprise that focuses on the integrated utilization of resources and operates in an economic circular model. Driven by in-depth reflection on global industrial changes and in line with the trend of shifting from old to new drivers of growth, the company has established a project for the comprehensive utilization of new materials and hydrogen energy in the Qingdao West Coast New Area. Recently, it was learned from relevant sources that Boli will construct two separate projects during the same period: a \"2×350,000 tons/year high-performance polypropylene project\" and a \"2×450,000 tons/year high-performance polypropylene project\". Jinneng Chemical (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jinneng Technology Co., Ltd., which is a comprehensive chemical enterprise that focuses on the integrated utilization of resources and operates in an economic circular model. JinNeng Chemical (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. was established in March 2018. Its registered address is Room 103, First Floor, Office Building of Qingdao Dongjiakou Economic Zone Management Committee, Huangdao District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. The company’s registered capital is 800 million yuan, and it is primarily engaged in technological development and technical services in the fields of new materials, chemicals, and energy-saving and environmental protection technologies ； Chemical testing services, quality monitoring, leasing and sales of instruments and mechanical equipment (excluding special equipment), property leasing, import and export of goods and technologies, as well as the production and sales of polymer materials and chemical raw materials and products (all of which do not include hazardous chemicals or drugs that are easily misused). The company’s factory is located on Gangchang Road/Street in Boli Town, West Coast New Area, covering a total area of approximately 163.5 hectares, and it consists of a northern plant area and a southern plant area. The company’s project construction plan involves two phases of development. The northern plant site is located to the northeast of the southern plant site, covering an area of approximately 51.8 hectares. In phase one, there will be a propane dehydrogenation unit with an annual capacity of 900,000 tons, as well as a polypropylene production unit with an annual capacity of 450,000 tons; in addition, there will be the plant’s main power station, boilers, control room, laboratory, etc. Phase two includes the construction of another propane dehydrogenation unit with an annual capacity of 900,000 tons, and this project is currently under construction ； The southern plant area is adjacent to Gangchang West Road to the west, Jicheng Road and the industrial land designated for the park to the south, and Gangchang Road to the east. It covers an area of approximately 111.7 hectares. In the northeast, a 8×60,000-ton green carbon black recycling facility along with related supporting facilities are under construction; in the northwest, carbon black storage tanks, propylene storage tanks, and chemical warehouses are also under construction. Sewage treatment facilities are being built in the southwest part of the site. The facilities for this project are mainly located in the southern part of the southern plant area – one set is situated to the west of the carbon black production area, while the second set is located at the very southern end of the plant. To the north of the second set of 2×350,000-ton/year high-performance polypropylene production facilities, there is land designated for a future 2×450,000-ton/year high-performance polypropylene production project. The construction in this phase is carried out simultaneously as two separate projects: the “2×350,000 tons/year high-performance polypropylene project” and the “2×450,000 tons/year high-performance polypropylene project”. Relying on the comprehensive hardware and software facilities, convenient transportation, and abundant resources available in the chemical industry park of the Qingdao Dongjiakou Economic Zone, Jinneng Chemical (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. invested 275,344 million yuan to build a \"2×350,000 tons/year high-performance polypropylene project\" for the production of homopolypropylene, random copolypropylene (including propylene-butylene copolymers), terpolymerized polypropylene, impact-resistant polypropylene, and TPO. According to the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for the Overall Development Plan of the Chemical Industry Park in Qingdao Dongjiakou Economic Zone, this project is intended to help the company gain a competitive edge in the industry. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to produce 105,000 tons per year of homopolymerized polypropylene, 175,000 tons per year of random copolypropylene (including propylene-butylene copolymers) and tercopolypropylene, and 420,000 tons per year of impact-resistant polypropylene and TPO. Once the project is put into operation, it will contribute to the development of the local economy and society to a certain extent. The project is an expansion project, located on Gangchang Road/Street in Boli Town, West Coast New Area, at geographical coordinates of 119°43′13.09′′E and 35°38′9.43′′N. The total investment in the project is approximately 2,753,440,000 yuan, of which 14,090,000 yuan is allocated for environmental protection. The project covers a total area of 385 mu, with an additional 385 mu designated for construction. The planned built-up area is 149,335 square meters. A total of 57,425 square meters of new factory buildings will be constructed. Additionally, 231 sets of domestic equipment will be purchased, along with 23 sets of imported equipment ； The proposed facilities mainly include two 350,000-ton/year high-performance polypropylene plants, a product packaging plant, a product warehouse, a circulating water system, low-temperature ethylene storage tanks, propylene storage tanks, and other auxiliary utility facilities. The annual production capacity is 105,000 tons of homopropylene, 175,000 tons of random copolypropylene (including propylene-butylene copolymers) and terpolymerized propylene, and 420,000 tons of impact-resistant propylene and TPO. It falls under the category of C2651, the manufacturing industry for primary-form plastics and synthetic resins.
