Recently, the official website of Wanhua Chemical Group published a draft environmental impact report for its project aimed at producing 400,000 tons of propylene oxide (POCHP) per year. The main contents of the announcement are as follows: Project name: The 400,000-ton/year propylene oxide (POCHP) project of Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. Nature of construction: Reconstruction and expansion ； Construction unit: Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd ； Construction site and area: East Area of Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park, Yantai Chemical Industry Park, Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone; the total area is 137,137 m² ； Annual operating hours: 8000 hours ； Project implementation plan: The planned commissioning date is June 2023 ； Construction contents and scale: A new production facility with an annual output of 400,000 tons of propylene oxide will be built, along with an open-type surface flare in Area 2, as well as supporting utility systems, storage and transportation facilities, and environmental protection measures.
