On August 8, the Tarim Petrochemical branch of Dushanzi Petrochemical received an Excellence Certificate for its high-density polyethylene production facility from the German company LyondellBasell. This is equivalent to issuing a diploma of ‘global top student’ to that device. LyondellBasell’s Hostalen/Hostalen? ACP Global Benchmark Survey is highly authoritative and is recognized in the polyethylene industry as the \"international standard test for process performance\". This survey evaluates equipment based on three dimensions: reliability, quality, and unit consumption. The results directly reflect the competitive level of the equipment among similar devices worldwide. Receiving an Excellence Certificate signifies that the device has reached a world-leading level in key metrics such as production efficiency, quality control, and resource utilization. The certificate also shows that Tarim Petrochemical’s high-density polyethylene plant achieved the first place in the \"High-Quality Production\" category on a global scale, with 100% high-quality production rates, which indicates that the plant’s technical capabilities and operational standards are among the best in the world. The high-density polyethylene plant of the Tarim Petrochemical Branch was successfully commissioned on September 6, 2021, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons; it is able to produce 26 different grades of products. Since the plant began operations, 7 new product grades have been developed, covering all five major application areas of high-density polyethylene: pipes, hollow products, drawn products, injection-molded products, and film materials.
