In mid-October, Daqing Petrochemical’s long-chain branched metallocene polyethylene resin, produced by using domestically-made fluororubber to formulate composite additives, gained recognition from users in the Northeast region for its film processing properties. To date, all 15 commonly used composite additives required for the production of polyethylene resin at Daqing Petrochemical have been manufactured domestically. This not only significantly reduces the company’s production costs but also provides important support for enhancing the autonomy and control over the supply chain in the polyethylene industry. In the production process of polyethylene resin, composite additives are key auxiliary chemicals that affect the product’s performance and processing stability. The 6 polyethylene production units at Daqing Petrochemical consume chemical agents such as catalysts and additives on an annual basis. In recent years, faced with a complex market environment and the pressure to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the industry, Daqing Petrochemical has made the localization of chemical \"three agents\" an important measure to ensure the security of its industrial chain and enhance operational efficiency. While adhering to strict safety standards and ensuring product quality, it has steadily promoted the use of domestically produced alternatives. The successful application of domestically produced composite additives in fluororubbers is the result of numerous efforts by the Daqing Petrochemical Technology Team. Based on a thorough understanding of the production process conditions for linear devices, the Polyolefins Department developed a detailed production plan tailored to the characteristics of domestically produced composite additives, specifying key parameters such as temperature and pressure. During production, key technical personnel provide ongoing supervision and guidance, monitoring parameter changes in real time and making dynamic adjustments to ensure stable product quality.
