According to China Petroleum Network (reporter Wang Xinxin, special correspondent Zhu Feng, correspondent Kou Shuangfeng), on November 17, gas was detected during the production fluid return operation at well Wei204H49-5 in the Sichuan Weiyuan shale gas field. The casing pressure, production fluid return rate, and instantaneous gas flow all met the expected levels, indicating that CNPC Technology Services’ Intelligent Fracturing 1.0 system was successfully deployed in a field setting for the first time and achieved the desired results. The Smart Fracturing 1.0 system was developed by CNPC Technology Services, with Sichuan Qingqing Drilling taking the lead; it was created in collaboration with companies such as Bao Shi Machinery and Kunlun Digital Intelligence. This system establishes a closed-loop control framework that covers geological modeling, underground sensing, centralized decision-making, and surface execution, thereby equipping fracturing operations with a \"smart brain\". The model layer creates models of in-situ stress fields and 3D structures, enabling the creation of \"transparent oil and gas\" data for precise drilling and section clustering ; The sensing layer integrates multi-source data such as distributed fiber optics and microseisms to accurately monitor the expansion of underground cracks, overcoming the limitation of traditional fracturing methods, which are unable to detect these phenomena visually or tangibly ; The decision-making level performs dynamic correction and rapid simulation of the 3D geological model to accurately calculate key parameters such as fracture patterns and construction risks, and intelligently generates pumping instructions ; The execution layer adopts a comprehensive power supply system that combines CNG-fired power generation, energy storage for power supply, and grid electricity, to enable automatic sand supply, intelligent pump control, and coordinated operation across the entire sand mixing and manifold process. Compared with the average levels of other operation platforms in the region, Sinopec Technical Services’ Intelligent Fracturing 1.0 system has achieved improvements in multiple indicators: equipment utilization efficiency has increased by 30%, the fracturing construction period has been reduced from 40 days to 31 days, the EUR per well is expected to increase by 10%, and the overall energy consumption of the equipment has decreased by 14%. No complex issues such as sand clogging or casing deformation have occurred.
