CNPC’s first polyolefin intelligent packaging line put into operation in Shanghai

On November 25, a grand ceremony was held in Shanghai to mark the completion and commissioning of China National Petroleum Corporation’s first demonstration-scale intelligent packaging line for polyolefin products – a project focused on cleaning, stacking, and secondary packaging of such products. In response to the demand in the East China market for standardized and intelligent packaging of polyolefin products, to overcome efficiency bottlenecks in the logistics process, and to enhance the market competitiveness of these products, East China Chemical Marketing, in collaboration with Lanzhou Petrochemical, Zhongkai Industry and Trade of Lanzhou Zhonglu Chemical Group, and other entities, is working together to advance the construction of this project. The annual packaging capacity of this project is 90,000 tons; it is the first secondary packaging line built at the sales frontline within China’s petroleum sector. Leaders from relevant organizations such as East China Chemical Sales Company and Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, as well as customer representatives from Prilt Group and Jinfafa Technology, attended the ceremony. This project is an important initiative by manufacturing enterprises to stay close to the market and serve customers, and its \"frontline\" positioning offers a new paradigm for the coordinated development of China Petroleum’s polyolefin industry chain. Gao Taiyan emphasized that East China Chemical Sales will take the commissioning of new projects as an opportunity to further leverage its advantages in sales, meet customers’ needs accurately, and enhance service efficiency and product value through intelligent packaging, thereby achieving a win-win situation for both production and sales. Lanzhou Zhongkai Company and the client’s representative, Prite Group, also delivered speeches discussing the achievements of the project construction as well as their expectations for future cooperation. Following the launch ceremony, guided by the staff of Shanghai’s warehousing branch, the guests followed a safe tour route to observe the entire process of the production line, including automatic unstacking, dust removal, intelligent stacking, and packaging with plastic covers, thereby gaining a firsthand understanding of the efficiency and precision of intelligent packaging solutions. The completion and operation of this project represent a concrete implementation of East China Chemical Marketing’s efforts to advance the outcomes of its themed education campaign focused on \"changing mindsets, fostering innovation, strengthening management, and striving for excellence.\" It also marks an important milestone in the company’s pursuit of a dual-driven model based on \"coordination between production and sales plus intelligent services.\" In the future, Huadong Chemical Marketing will use this project as a starting point, continuing to rely on the operational capabilities of secondary units such as those in Shanghai to optimize its supply chain service system. This will enable it to provide better and more convenient services to polyolefin customers in the East China region, helping PetroChina’s polyolefin business gain an advantage in market competition.
