Yulin Chemical’s annual production of ethylene glycol exceeds 2 million tons 2026-01-03 As of December 29, the 1.8 million tons per year ethylene glycol production facility operated by Yulin Chemical had produced 2.003 million tons of polyester-grade ethylene glycol in 2025, achieving 121.4% of the target set by the group. Since the beginning of this year, Yulin Chemical has focused on four key tasks and thoroughly implemented four business philosophies. By completing the upgrade of 3 sets of high-palladium catalysts used in DMO synthesis, adopting innovative alkali washing processes, introducing new types of additives, and making precise adjustments to process parameters, it has managed to raise the DMO synthesis capacity to over 107%. The time required to replace the catalysts for ethylene glycol production has been reduced to 17.4 days. This not only extends the production cycle of the facility but also improves the yield of ethylene glycol, enabling a stable daily production volume of over 6,100 tons. In addition, Yulin Chemical was the first in the province to establish three platforms: a comprehensive enterprise shared service center (SSC), an excellence management center (EMC), and a strategic inspection center (SIC), thereby creating an integrated governance system of \"service – management – supervision\". By proactively establishing a \"Zero-Carbon Strategy Center,\" a \"Financial Accounting Center,\" and a \"Compliance and Risk Management Leadership Team,\" it aims to create a high-quality development support system that integrates green development, value management, and risk control, thereby providing strong momentum for exceeding annual production targets.
