On March 24, the first batch of J182C ultra-clean high-voltage polyethylene cable insulation material bases, developed jointly by Shanghai Petrochemical and Huaxia Chemical Sales along with downstream cable manufacturers, was sent to these manufacturers, marking a breakthrough for Shanghai Petrochemical in the field of high-end cable insulation material bases. The J182C ultra-clean high-voltage polyethylene cable insulation material is primarily used in the insulation layers of high-voltage cables of 110 kV and above. It features low dielectric loss, high volume resistivity, and excellent processing stability; its key performance indicators are at the advanced level of similar international products, enabling it to meet the demands for high-performance cable materials in fields such as new energy and rail transit. During the production process, Sinopec Shanghai makes full use of its advantages in integrating production, sales, research, and application. It strengthens cooperation with universities and downstream customers to establish a collaborative innovation loop that encompasses \"basic research by universities – production and transformation by enterprises – feedback from market applications,\" thereby working together to advance the development of domestic high-performance cable materials. Continuous optimization of production processes and enhanced quality control have enabled the establishment of an ultra-clean supply chain that covers all stages from production to logistics, ensuring stable product output and supply.
