On March 27, PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical successfully produced the polypropylene impact product PP-B M0025 in just 5 months, setting a record for the shortest time it took for a similar domestic device to produce anti-impact products since it started production. The successful mass production of this new product has effectively filled the gap in the South China market and injected new vitality into the development of the domestic high-end polypropylene industry. The flexural modulus of PP-B M0025 product reaches 1100 MPa, and its simply-supported beam impact strength and other properties reach domestic high-end standards. It has excellent rigidity and impact resistance and can fully meet the stringent requirements of downstream industries for material mechanical properties. This product can be used in household appliances, battery casings, industrial pallets and other fields. It is expected to further improve the situation of domestic high-end polypropylene anti-impact products relying on imports, reduce the production costs of downstream enterprises, and help improve the quality and upgrading of domestic related industries. Guangxi Petrochemical has comprehensively innovated in technology research and development and management models, built a "technology + talent" dual innovation system, and achieved two-way empowerment of technological breakthroughs and talent cultivation. Currently, the first batch of PP-B M0025 products have been sent to downstream manufacturers for application testing.
