On April 24, the scene at the Second Rubber Products Operation Area of Unit 1 of Daqing Petrochemical was bustling. In the finished product loading area, trucks loaded with styrene-butadiene rubber products are lined up in a long queue, waiting in order to be shipped ； On the railway pier not far away, freight trains are ready to set off, with the products destined for regions such as East and South China. As the largest butadiene rubber production base in the country, Daqing Petrochemical has actively responded to changes in domestic and international markets, taking control of production and sales processes. In the first quarter, its butadiene rubber production exceeded the planned target by 392 tons; the proportion of high-quality products increased by 1.72 percentage points compared to the previous year. The company achieved profits of over 100 million yuan, realizing improvements in both quality and efficiency. System optimization lays the foundation for high productivity and efficiency. Daqing Petrochemical continues to make efforts in production management, keeping the adjustment range of the feed load within 5%. Taking into account the characteristics of the polymerization unit, the load reduction rate was kept below 1 cubic meter per hour; it was specified that the load could only be changed after the catalyst had stabilized for 20 minutes. By adopting a method of adjustment that was slow, steady, and gradual, the stability level of the unit was increased to over 99.8%. In terms of equipment operation and maintenance, the technical team took targeted actions; through optimizations such as reducing the width of the baffle plates in the gel washing tanks and adjusting the gaps between the bars in segments, they effectively addressed issues like fluctuations in production volume. This helped to keep the output per shift at around 85 tons, laying the foundation for exceeding production targets on a quarterly basis. Rigorous control drives a boost in product quality. The key to increasing the rate of high-grade products lies in controlling the Mooney viscosity. The First Petrochemical Department of Daqing Petrochemical has innovatively adopted a \"small quantities, frequent deliveries\" approach for weight reduction operations, raising the average purity of the recycled butadiene from 97.24% to 98.3%, thereby reducing the factors that cause fluctuations in Mooney viscosity at the source and ensuring stable product quality. On this basis, the technical staff further narrowed the control range for the finished product, maintaining the Mooney value of the spare glue containers at a medium level and leaving sufficient margin for adjustment, so as to ensure that the product performance remains optimal at all times. In the first quarter, the process capability index (CPK) for butadiene rubber products increased month by month, and the rate of high-quality products rose significantly. Targeted shipping enhances competitive advantages in the market. The improvement in product quality must ultimately be translated into market competitiveness.
