Questions about the dimethyl ether vaporization tower

In the gas-phase dehydration process of methanol, there is a methanol vaporization tower. I saw in some designs that the calculation for such a tower starts with the number of trays, followed by calculations related to the distillation and stripping sections, and then calculations for a packed tower. What I want to know is how to create a CAD diagram of this methanol vaporization tower Is it a combination of a distillation tower and a packed tower, or just a packed tower?
