On April 26, a notice was issued regarding the commissioning of Beiyi (Shandong) New Materials Co., Ltd.’s 100,000-ton/year high-performance polyolefin elastomer and related production facilities. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Interim Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment, and the Interim Measures for Environmental Protection Acceptance upon Completion of Construction Projects, the information regarding the environmental protection facilities to be constructed as part of the 100,000-ton/year high-performance polyolefin elastomer production project carried out by Beiyi (Shandong) New Materials Co., Ltd. is now made public. The details are as follows: 1. Project name: 100,000-ton/year high-performance polyolefin elastomer production project. 2. Project overview: The project is located in the Baoxing County Economic Development Zone in Binzhou City, Shandong Province, to the east of Xingye Ninth Road, to the south of Branch Ditch No. 3, and within the southern factory area of Beiyi (Shandong) New Materials Co., Ltd. The geographical coordinates of the project’s center point are 37.170167º north latitude and 118.228267º east longitude. The factory area covers an area of 61,336 m2, with a total investment of 1.61336 billion yuan; of this amount, 11.2 million yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures, accounting for 0.69% of the total investment. Construct a 100,000 tons/year POE production facility along with its supporting systems, including raw material pretreatment units, polymerization units, separation and recovery units, extrusion and granulation units, as well as product storage and transportation units; purchase key equipment such as reaction vessels, extruders, separation towers, pumps, and containers; and build auxiliary facilities for utilities, safety, and environmental protection. Upon completion of the project, it will have an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of POE. Completion date of the construction project: April 25, 2026. Dates for the commissioning of the environmental protection facilities related to this project: from April 26, 2026, to October 25, 2026. Public announcement period: April 26, 2026.
