I. Introduction: The LYJⅡ type chlorine compressor features an assembled, integral gear-driven turbine structure with two stages of compression; the impellers are mounted in a cantilever configuration, and the main shaft rotates at 22,790 r/min. It represents a new type of chlorine transportation equipment developed in China for the first time. This chlorine compressor unit features the following characteristics: 1. The shaft seal of this chlorine compressor unit uses a labyrinth comb-tooth seal, with dry air or nitrogen being injected into it. By sending a mixture of chlorine and nitrogen to the waste chlorine treatment unit, it is possible to prevent nitrogen from entering the chlorine system, thus ensuring no chlorine leaks; lubricating oil also does not enter the chlorine system, and chlorine does not enter the oil circuit system. 2. The electrical and instrumentation control system for this chlorine compression unit can utilize touch screens or Siemens S7-200 PLCs.
