Yesterday, my company had a hydraulic diaphragm metering pump from Tai De Pam that was not loading. After disassembly and inspection, it was found that the plunger rod was broken? How could this be broken? Please help analyze the reasons

I agree with what the sixth floor said. Our company used to have a plunger pump, but it broke somewhere. The reason was this problem.
This is a design problem. The plunger is large and the place where the column is stuck is small. If the force is large, it will easily break. Besides, such a large plunger should be designed with piston rings.
