The unit is equipped with a Chiller Tai Da cold-water screw chiller; after maintenance and refrigerant refilling, it started operating but showed high exhaust pressure. Inlet temperature of the condenser: 26 degrees; outlet temperature: 29 degrees
Intuitively, it seems that the exhaust pressure isn’t too high; the temperature of the cooling water returning to the system is only 29 degrees, so the condensation temperature should be around 32 degrees as well. It’s necessary to check the condensation pressure corresponding to that refrigerant and compare it with the exhaust pressure shown here. The alarm values are based on design values; perhaps the designed exhaust pressure is lower. Of course, current-related alarms are also related to high exhaust pressure. The main issue seems to be the high oil injection temperature, so it’s important to check whether there’s a problem with the oil cooler.
Whether the refrigerant’s condensation temperature matches the pressure; if they do not match, the refrigerant is impure. Is the condensation temperature too high as well?
If no high voltage or overcurrent was reported before the maintenance, then this fault that occurs after the maintenance is most likely due to an insufficient vacuuming time, or leaks in the vacuuming lines, which allows non-condensable gases to enter the system and results in impure fluorine as well as high condensation pressure
Thank you all, the problem has been resolved. The condenser circulating water was severely scaled, but it no longer reports high levels after cleaning.
