The motor that just got damaged in the factory – let’s take a look and see what’s wrong
What could be the cause?
Why isn’t there any grease? Did it get damaged from burning out due to lack of lubrication?
You usually don’t carry out maintenance, don’t apply proper lubricant, and don’t conduct vibration analysis on a regular basis. As a result, severe wear occurs; in fact, if one uses a temperature gun to measure the temperatures of the bearings before and after operation, this kind of problem would not arise. We replaced the motor bearing shaft with a GEA model, and the normal operating temperature was around 40 degrees Celsius. However, it rose to 70 degrees Celsius; after replacing the lubricant, the temperature immediately stabilized at 40 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the quality of grease and regular maintenance are extremely important.
Severe oil shortage; inadequate maintenance
There is no vibration detection and emergency shutdown system (it does not work).
Inadequate lubrication； The equipment itself is like a car; proper maintenance is crucial. Even the best cars can turn into tractors if their regular maintenance isn’t done properly.
