Is there any difference between triangular belts SPB and XPB?

The V-belts used for the fans in our company are SPB2120 from Oubit. Can we use XPB2120 from Gates instead? What is the difference between the two?
Not entirely sure, but we’ve used it and it still works; the size is the same. SPB is a V-belt, which is commonly used in ordinary machine pumps and fans, while XPB is a toothed belt, which is more frequently used in compressors. I’m not sure if what I said is correct
XPB is a toothed belt with low friction, resulting in less heat generation
