Regarding single turbine tests

Before conducting joint tests with the compressor, a separate test run of the turbine is required. How is the speed controlled during this separate test run of the turbine without any load? I majored in instrumentation.
The oil-driven motor will automatically operate at a specified speed
Won’t the turbine spin out without a load?
Don’t increase the speed too much, or the vehicle won’t stall
During no-load testing, the main steam valve is not opened; instead, the bypass steam valve is used, and the limited amount of steam prevents overspeeding
You don’t need to worry about this: the electro-hydraulic converter adjusts the oil pressure based on the input data, thereby controlling the opening degree of the speed control valve; the opening degree of this valve determines the speed of the turbine.
I am quite familiar with the control of rotational speed. I encountered an incident before where the intake valve of the compressor closed, but the turbine was not stopped via interlock; eventually, the compressor stopped due to overspeed. The compressor inlet valve is closed; it’s similar to the situation when there is no load. The reason for the overspeed is likely that the rotation speed wasn’t adjusted in time.
