Vehicle commissioning and load testing plan

We recently installed a 100T electric crane on the project, and I would like to ask who should be responsible for the calibration and load-testing of the crane – the manufacturer? Construction contractor? Is it still operated by the owner? Another question: What documents are generally required and what procedures need to be followed to obtain a usage license for such lifting equipment?

Unless otherwise stipulated in the contract, it is generally the manufacturer who is responsible for the commissioning and testing procedures. The installation must be registered with the local authorities; complete factory documentation as well as the qualifications of the installation company are required. Only after it has been tested and approved by a qualified local agency can a usage permit be issued.
