What are the reasons why a centrifugal pump does not deliver flow?
Clogging, valve failures, operational factors, impeller abnormalities, seal suction, excessively high medium temperature, abnormal motor torque and speed
1. Improper hydraulic design of the impeller. 2. Blockage at the inlet. 3. Corrosion of the impeller. 4. Loose fastening mechanism of the impeller. 5. Failure of the key used to connect the impeller. 6. Separation of the impeller from its mounting. 7. Damaged outlet valve that cannot be opened. 8. Pump running in reverse. 9. Fault in the motor system
Additional notes: air leakage in the suction pipe, clogged impeller, installation height exceeding the maximum suction vacuum level

Less common cases include severe rusting of the impeller and loss of the impeller mounting screws.
It can be determined using the process of elimination. Close the outlet valve; if the pressure can reach the pump’s operating parameters, it is likely due to blockage at the inlet or cavitation. After ruling out reasons related to import and export, only the issues with the pump itself remain.
