Is it a twin-screw thickener or an extruder? I don’t understand why the pitch of the discharge section is larger than that of the feed section. Is it an angle illusion or process design? Can you give me some advice? Does this kind of cylinder heating use thermal oil? What is the downstream equipment?
It is a polyethylene extruder that uses steam/desalted water for heating and cooling to extrude finished particles.
Only the pelletizer behind the extruder can cut out particles. Your answer seems to be that particles are extruded.
