I will upload the repair report later and add the disassembly and repair analysis.: The rear-end silicon carbide bearing was broken, causing the stator and rotor to be swept, the stator sleeve to leak, the motor to be filled with liquid, grounding, the rotor sleeve to leak, the rotor cast aluminum to be severely corroded, and the silicon carbide consumable parts to be damaged. (This is feedback from the maintenance unit, but I still don’t understand what caused the silicon carbide bearing to break)
I have never come into contact with chloroform, but I have used canned pumps for several years and have also overhauled vertical canned pumps. The pump cannot be started, which may be caused by internal jamming. Is it because chloroform tends to precipitate crystals under static conditions? Before starting the vertical canned pump, it must be exhausted to ensure that the upper bearing is lubricated by liquid, otherwise dry wear of the bearing will easily occur.
The import is equipped with an inducer, and the NPSHR requirement should be very low. If it runs dry, the bearing will burn. Also, why did you stop the pump?
It suddenly stops during operation and then fails to start.
It feels like the medium is crystallized or contains impurities; After the bearings and bushings are damaged, friction occurs between the rotor and the stator.
