Today, while inspecting a natural gas processing plant belonging to a certain oil company in western China, I was suddenly reminded of the project from last year when I visited a natural gas plant in the western United States together with colleagues from Johnson FRICK in the U.S. The installers paid great attention to the details of oil separation and pipeline insulation work; their efforts were truly outstanding. Although the site where the project was carried out was a remote place with hardly any life around, the installation of equipment and pipelines for this propane compressor-based natural gas processing project was indeed of top quality – something that our countrymen should learn from.

It’s new equipment, and there are two units – it shouldn’t be a bearing issue. There’s a liquid separation tank at the inlet as well as interlocks, so problems should be minimal. I’m not very familiar with pipeline design either. What does \"insufficient compression\" mean? The vibration is really severe; even the valve handwheels have come loose due to it

Under-compression refers to a situation where the volume ratio of the content is less than that of the external volume; in other words, the exhaust pressure is lower than the condensing pressure of the condenser, requiring repeated compression of the exhaust gas before it can be expelled. Generally, undercompression occurs in summer while overcompression occurs in winter; this is the difference between units with a variable volume ratio and those with a fixed volume ratio. To determine whether compression is insufficient, it is sufficient to compare the discharge pressure resulting from the ratio of the current condensation temperature to the lowest pressure corresponding to it, with the compressor’s current volume.
