What is the function of the oil mist separator at the top of the Roots blower?
It mainly serves to separate the oil mist from the lubricating oil; the oil mist is passed through a filter element, thereby returning the oil contained in it to the fuel tank, thus fulfilling a filtering function.
If there is no pressure, it won’t separate like this. Are there any pictures or manufacturers?
Typical Roots blowers do not come equipped with oil mist separators. I would like to ask what the significant advantages are of installing an oil mist separator on a Roots blower?
