Dry gas seal flow rate issue

Is there any manufacturer or expert in dry gas seals who can offer some guidance? In our facility, the inlet flow rate of the primary stage of the dry gas seals in the low-pressure cylinder and the high-pressure cylinder of the ammonia compressor differs significantly – the designed inlet flow rate for the primary stage of the low-pressure cylinder is 150 m3, while it is 30 m3 for the high-pressure cylinder. Could someone explain why this is the case? Is it because of the large pressure difference, or?
The pressure of the sealing gas in your case should be different, and moreover, the sealing dimensions for the high-pressure cylinder and the low-pressure cylinder are exactly the same, right?
I need to take a look at your design parameters; if there are deviations from the design specifications, it can be inferred that there is a leakage issue with the seal
The size is the same; it’s just the direction of rotation that differs. Sealing air pressure difference: high-pressure cylinder 0.3 MPA, low-pressure cylinder 0.2 MPA.
Except for the relatively high leakage gas flow rate at the drive end of the low-pressure cylinder, which is still within the acceptable range, everything else is within the design specifications
