Why does the blower inlet need to be designed with such a long section of pipe and two elbows?
If it is not set so high, it will easily affect people or things passing through the pipe opening.
Being close to the ground is easy for dirt to enter and may also affect others!
What should be considered is the safety of passers-by, preventing debris from being sucked into the fan, and the fan inlet temperature (summer).
There are filters and silencers at the fan inlet, which are a must. Installing these two things will naturally require some pipes and elbows. :P
The main purpose of the installation in the picture is to save space. Proper elevation can also ensure the quality of air intake and avoid disturbing people passing by.
What should be considered is personal safety and preventing debris from being sucked into the fan.
