What determines the purity level of a nitrogen generator? For example, it is used for nitrogen sealing of storage tanks, which hold Class A materials. In this case, should nitrogen with a purity of 99%, 99.9%, or 99.99% be chosen? Thank you
99.9% is a good standard; 99% is somewhat low, while 99.99% is suitable for applications with high requirements for nitrogen purity. With current nitrogen production technologies, it is relatively easy to achieve 99.9% purity, and the cost increase for meeting a 99% purity standard is not significant
I mainly want to know what the relationship is between this purity and the nitrogen sealing of the material, in order to prevent the formation of explosive mixtures
