Centrifugal compressor hold-up pressure

What is the holding pressure, also known as setting out pressure, of a compressor? Should it be the maximum pressure at the inlet or the maximum pressure at the outlet? What part of the machine is this value related to?

Thank you; I already know the literal meaning. I just want to know how to consider the pressure inside the unit – should it be based on the maximum pressure? Jump pressure?
It should be the outlet pressure, probably for energy-saving reasons
