Why does the compressor dry gas seal need to be equipped with a balance pipe? What is the purpose of setting
This is not a dry gas seal balance pipe, but a compressor balance pipe.
This is a flat horizontal pipe connected to the compressor inlet by the high-pressure dry gas seal on the outlet side of the compressor. Part of the first-level sealing gas leaks through the first-level seal, and the other part flows through the labyrinth seal between the seal and the compressor to the balance pipe and flows to the compressor inlet pipe. The low-pressure dry gas seal on the inlet side of the compressor is the same as the inlet and does not need to be connected to the balance pipe. The pressure inside the balance pipe is lower than the first-level sealing gas pressure and is higher than the compressor inlet pressure.
