The main components of the ammonium sulfate separator (with sulfuric acid as the primary medium), such as screens, drum pusher plates, guard plates for the pusher disks, distribution disks, pusher disks, and drum pressure rings, are made of 304/304L steel, which lacks sufficient corrosion resistance. Replacing them with 316L steel does not meet the requirements for corrosion resistance; switching to 2205 steel also results in poor corrosion resistance. Now, 2507 steel is being used, which increases maintenance costs significantly. Do any of you have any suggestions?
Try using 316L of urea grade, with a carbon content of less than 0.02%.
