However, using a heat transfer oil furnace to heat the heat transfer oil carries a relatively high level of risk; if the wrong type of heat transfer oil is used, the temperature may become too high, leading to a flash point. Therefore, such furnaces need to be used with caution. Nowadays, we generally recommend the use of temperature control machines, which can enable heating and cooling cycles, with a maximum temperature of up to 300°C – sufficient to meet the requirements of most products. The main advantages of using temperature control machines are as follows: First, they allow for automatic temperature rising, falling, and maintenance at a constant level, so there’s no need to worry about the temperature being too low ; II. It features a high safety factor, small footprint, and simple operation; all that is required for the pipes is proper insulation. III. Mold temperature controllers are widely used in the chemical industry, have mature operating procedures, and work perfectly in conjunction with the jacket of the reactor vessel. The heating media include water and heat transfer oil; heat transfer oil furnaces require a large amount of space and are prone to scrutiny by environmental agencies, so their use is advised with caution.
