The difference between support in the second form and support in the first form
Can someone answer? Can the second one be used?
1. It is a very brief schematic; there are no details, and without knowing the background of the actual situation, it is impossible to determine whether it can be used or not. 2. The diagram seems to show how to restrain a vertical pipe, with the aim of keeping the pipe’s displacement within the allowable range within the framework plane. Just in this regard, as long as the gaps in each direction are the same, Figures 1 and 2 have similar functions. Since the diagram is too simple, it is impossible to determine whether Figure 1 represents a nail or a plate, or whether Figure 2 represents a plate or a solid body. If the two figures represent a nail and a plate respectively, then it is a case of point contact and line contact. 3. When the pipe undergoes vertical displacement, and the gap within the frame changes depending on this displacement, rollers should be used as the positioning devices fixed to the limiting frame, in order to reduce the resistance to vertical movement
