For example: direct cooling, indirect cooling, single-stage compression, two-stage compression, cascade refrigeration, and so on. . . When the equipment configurations of different manufacturers are similar, factors such as the safety and reliability of the compressor, initial investment, energy savings to recoup costs, and environmental regulations should be taken into consideration. Therefore, the first goal is to learn to understand the key aspects of equipment selection and configuration comparisons, so as to purchase equipment that offers the best cost-performance ratio. 2. After the equipment is in use, maintenance becomes necessary, just like with cars – refrigeration units also require maintenance over time, including the replacement of filters and refrigerant oil as well as the cleaning of the condenser; this constitutes minor maintenance. Major maintenance involves the disassembly and inspection of the compressor, the replacement of bearings, seals, the repair of rotor geometry, shaft seals, slide valves, sliders, and the chamber itself, among other things. . The compressor is the heart of the entire refrigeration system.
