Will the design pressure for low-temperature tank trucks moving forward follow the path with pumps, at lower pressures?
Who said that? A group standard for LPG vehicles equipped with pumps was just developed recently; as for LNG, there is no plan yet to allow vehicles with pumps for its transport. Moreover, considering the requirements regarding the static head of the pump, how much lower can its pressure go? There are no regulations regarding this in the new GB/T18442 either; it just seems that it suddenly became a recommended standard, and the rules are extremely detailed – to such an extent that the appearance of vehicles, their control panels, and their basic configurations will all be exactly the same in the future. It comes down to manufacturing processes and quality stability.
