The flow rate is 3 tons per hour, the system back pressure is 10 kg, and the conveying medium contains 98% concentrated sulfuric acid. It turned out that the pump head of the domestic diaphragm metering pump was severely corroded and vibrated, and the one made of 316 material also did not run well. I plan to choose a gear pump. I wonder if anyone has used it in similar situations. How is the effect? Or do you have any other solutions to recommend? This is purely a technical discussion, no advertising!
Tips from the Design Institute: Plastic lined pumps can be used. Or use a duplex stainless steel pump.

The temperature of sulfuric acid is 45 degrees Celsius. The hydraulic oil screen holes in the carbon steel metering pump head can be said to be terrible, and the holes are broken in pieces. As long as the diaphragm is broken, the acid in the oil will cause severe corrosion. The deformation of the mesh will accelerate the damage of the diaphragm. For carbon steel centrifugal pumps and plastic-lined centrifugal pumps, I consider that the flow rate is small and the pressure is high, so there may not be suitable pump types to choose from.

Choose an imported diaphragm pump, such as Riva, which is what we use. Material grade 316L.
