Recently, a circulation fan of an air conditioner was damaged in the factory, and the bearing bracket was pulled off. The belt of this fan was often damaged in the past. We suspect that the diameters of the motor side belt pulley and the fan side belt pulley are too large, and the installation distance between the two is also very close. You can see the picture directly. Is there any problem with this design? Other air-conditioning circulating fans in the factory do not have this problem. They all have smaller wheels and are installed far apart. I am not a designer. I would like to ask everyone whether this design is reasonable? The bracket of the fan bearing is broken, so the two pairs of wheels are close to each other. Normally, the distance between the two wheels is very close, and the distance between the edges is only about ten centimeters.
1. As long as it is parallel. 2. The belt must be of original brand and specification. 3. The pre-tightening force must be appropriate. There should be no problem.

If the component shown by the arrow supports the bearing, you should not look for the reason from the belt, at least, not the main reason, but to replace this support... 3. The larger the pulley, the better the operating life of the belt... 4. The selection of the pulley is not a simple matter of just calculating the transmission ratio of the two. There will be an optimal solution that satisfies the transmission ratio and satisfies the maximum pulley as much as possible.……
Thank you very much. Even though this cross serves as a support for the bearing, it looks very fragile. In addition, the belt tightening force was adjusted relatively high before, which caused the belt to collapse. I used to suspect that the pair of wheels was too large and the center distance was too close, but I knew very little about this aspect of the design.
Belt drive is used in situations where the center distance between the two drive wheels is large. If the distance is short, gear drive should be selected.
The fan bearing bracket is too thin, and the belt drive puts stress on one side of the shaft system.
