The natural gas one is easy to understand. After all, the gas can be compressed, but the opening of the lubricating oil means that the inlet and outlet are flat and the lubricating oil cannot flow in the pipe bundle. At present, the effect of our oil cooler is very poor. Is this the reason?
The hole on the dividing plate of the pipe box is commonly known as the tear hole, and its official name is the drain hole. Used to drain the liquid in the pipe box during heat exchanger maintenance. Without this hole, the liquid on the horizontal partition of the pipe box below the pipe hole cannot be discharged. GB151-1999 "Steel Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger" 3.2.2 b contains an article "If necessary, a drain hole can be provided on the dividing plate. The diameter of the drain hole is generally 6mm. ; ” The answer I found online, but in our case, we have a 10mm hole, and the pipe bundle is horizontal, so that all the oil will not flow through the oil cooler.
There will be some that have left the Lei Kong and are no longer subject to heat exchangers, but not all of them have escaped from there. After all, the Lei Kong is very small, and most of them have gone through the heat exchange tubes.
So now it’s very strange. There is no temperature at all on the other side of the oil cooler, and the temperature on the inlet and outlet sides is very high. I suspect that the oil is not flowing inside. In addition, does the tube bundle need to be tilted? This is horizontal.

The temperature of lubricating oil entering the unit is generally controlled at 45+-3°C. This room temperature cannot be tolerated. The temperature in our summer is not high, and the top of the tower is still cold in the air, let alone such a high temperature.
The current problem is that the design flow rate of the pump and oil cooler is both 13m3/h, but the flow rate through the oil cooler is only 6m3/h measured by a portable ultrasonic flow meter, which is only half. The remaining half of the flow rate is returned to the oil tank through the pressure regulating valve, and half of the flow rate passes through the oil cooler. It is not clear whether this will cause oil flow. On-site measurements found that the oil does not flow inside.
