The circulation of the sealing fluid is driven by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the pumping ring inside the mechanical seal.

From what I understood after searching on Baidu, it is to make the pressure at the seal fluid side of the mechanical seal higher than the pressure at the medium side, in order to prevent leakage of the medium. Big brother, right?
