Hello everyone, I need to crush 1.5–2 kg of catalysts for fuel cells (containing platinum). I am currently looking for suitable equipment that meets the following three conditions: 1. The crushing process must take place under nitrogen protection, 2. The material after crushing should be able to pass through a 0.15 mm sieve, and 3. The equipment should have a function for collecting the material. I was wondering if any of you have experience with such equipment, or if you know anyone in this field Thank you in advance!

I have indeed considered ball mills. However, the zirconium beads in the machine still need to be sifted, and the beads themselves will also pick up some material

Platinum-containing catalysts using carbon powder as a carrier typically amount to around 2 kg per batch, which is not a large quantity. It’s usually about the size of half a fingernail – isn’t using a pneumatic grinder an overkill?

For this particle size, I generally recommend roller grinding, and for the sieve used afterward, I suggest one with adjustable tension. Because of the small particle size, it’s very easy to clog the pores
