Fan gauge pressure, pressure rise

The wind pressure at the fan inlet is 3 kPa, and the pressure rise across the fan is 5.5 kPa. What are then the gauge pressures at the fan inlet and outlet?
I assume that both of the numbers you mentioned refer to absolute pressure; in that case, it seems like this fan is actually a vacuum pump, as both are operating under negative pressure conditions. Inlet gauge pressure -97 kPa, outlet gauge pressure -91.5 kPa ； Assuming that both of these numbers represent gauge pressure, then the inlet gauge pressure is 3 kPa, and the outlet gauge pressure is 8.5 kPa
