The sight glass for the circulating water in our unit’s compressor stopped working properly after less than half a year of use; moreover, the impeller inside it also stopped rotating. Is this a quality issue, everyone? In such a situation, should people disassemble it for inspection and cleaning, or simply purchase a new viewfinder to replace it?
Take it apart to check and analyze the reason. Make a reasonable judgment before deciding whether to purchase a suitable mirror for replacement.

Whether to replace or disassemble it depends on whether the pipeline can be cut off; if it can be cut off, then it can be cleaned, and if not, a replacement part needs to be purchased.
Either cleaning or replacing it will work, but first the problem of dirty circulating water needs to be resolved; otherwise, the issues you described will occur again.
Identify the root cause, analyze the water quality in the cycle, locate and address the source of contamination, and then decide whether to clean or replace it.
