Experts, are there more interlocks on reciprocating compressors abroad compared to those on compressors in China? Are there any other interlocks that are necessary, in addition to the low pressure interlock for the lubricating oil main pipe, the low pressure interlock for the softened water main pipe, the high vibration interlock for the machine body, and the high temperature interlock for the motor stator?
It also depends on the production medium and the structural design of the equipment. More interlocks are beneficial for safe production, but too many of them can lead to false signal-induced shutdowns due to instrument control issues. Such issues still need to be set rationally based on the requirements of the device itself. There are also issues such as chain shutdowns resulting from cylinder failure, and the problem of selecting the appropriate sensors for implementing such chains; some of these can be addressed while others cannot for now. It’s better to be targeted; use those that are applicable, and those that aren’t may not be needed. For reference.
The liquid levels in the inlet and inter-stage separation tanks must also be taken into account. For a single set of equipment, it is better to have multiple interlocks, such as those related to the descent of the piston rod, exhaust temperature, oil injector flow rate or pressure, etc.; however, the impact of shutdown on production must be considered.
