To improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of impellers, spraying a layer of polyurethane is an excellent solution; it is easy to apply and dries quickly. In submerged conditions, its strength is 3 times that of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and 4–5 times that of vulcanized rubber. Two-component, environmentally friendly, and free of any volatile substances. It has an attractive appearance; it does not fade over time, offers good replication of the original design, features continuous layers that are dense without any seams or pores. It can be applied at room temperature and is not sensitive to humidity or temperature changes. Pollution-free!
What is the maximum surface hardness that can be achieved? How is the wear resistance?
Hardness: Shore A 80; wear resistance is 4-5 times that of natural rubber
